Green cloth boards with titles in a Clarendon style serif to spine and cover, blind stamped ruled borders and small colour plate pasted to top board. Lightly rubbed extremities and very slight spine fade/tanning only. Internally crisp and clean with some age toning and very occasional light spotting (moreso to endpapers). Prev. owner inscription to FFEP. With a coloured illustration of every species and many line drawings. Plates in lovely condition. A highly collectible copy of this scarce work. Please note we have several titles in this series. [C.1890s].
