The Folklore Society issued this book in its County Folklore series. The Society had already published books on Northumberland folklore with Henderson's Northern Folklore and The Denham Tracts. Spine slightly sunned. A little wear at the spine ends and a small mark to the spine. White mark on top edge. Inside, loss to fore-edge of the inside cover. Institutional stamps to secondary title page, title page and last leaf. A few splash marks to the last few pages. Other books about Berwick, The Borders, Alnwick, Northumberland and Newcastle available. 8vo, [viii], 180pp.

I endeavour to provide an accurate description/grading. I can provide
scans/photos on request and will reserve an item for up to 48 hrs.
All major faults are described. In books costing less than £10
minor details eg pc dj, owner's name may be omitted. Please enquire if these
