Binding tight and square, pages clean, bright, and unmarked. 1978 Hard Cover. xv, 412 pp. An examination of the career of Austrian psychiatrist Rudolf Dreikurs, who championed his Technology of Human Relations, which held that 'a psychological system, to be useful, must be compatible with the philosophical outlook and temperament of a society.' This was a stark contrast to the Freudian psychiatric concepts that dominated at the time, and helped allow Adlerian psychology to flourish in America. In 1952, Dreikurs organized a group of followers of Adlerian psychology to found the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.
