Four parts in one volume, comprising pp.v, 154p (+48*, 49*) + pp.x, 16p + pp.vii, 36p +22; + 31 pages of 'The Bench', which includes a folding frontispiece and a full-page plate (minor foxing on both), marbled end-papers and edges, hardback (full nineteenth-century calf, more recently rebacked in matching calf, with mock raised bands and a black morocco label gilt on the spine), an exceptionally clean book, that came to us from a uk university library. The four parts of the main work being apparently limited to 150 / 50 / 150 / 30 copies respectively (so no more than 30 copies of the four parts could possibly have been bound together!).
