About this Item

Facsimile. One folio sheet folded to make four pages, with a facsimile of the two-page proclamation tipped-on to page three. Measuring 11" x 15�" closed. English translation on page two. Illustrated with a cover image and historiated initial in red. Cover lightly tanned along the topedge and topedge with a tiny bit of wear, about fine. The proclamation was originally issued in 1843 or 1844. The final page announces that the publication was presented by Warren R. Howell, and Lawton and Alfred L. Kennedy.
