Very early anti-fascist propaganda publication, with a photo-montage on the cover. The book gives account of the concentration camps, tortures and the poor living conditions in the Third Reich, with a focus on the violence and unequal treatment towards women and children. It was published privately by the Hungarian publicist and writer, Istvan Miklos Stolte (1910-1991), and got banned in 1944 after the German occupation of Hungary. . Owner's stamp on the cover at the upper right edge. Pages yellowed due to acidic paper. Light water stains at the extremities throughout, with no effect on text. Occasional marks in the text in pencil. Few leaves artistically restored at the gutter. Overall in very good condition. In publisher's illustrated wrappers, printed in red and black.
