The biography of Daniel Rudd a former slave who grew to prominence after the Civil War. He was publisher of the American Catholic Review, was an activist who ultimately worked for Scott Bond and assisted in writing Bond's biography. A few black and white photos. 236 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
