A Curious Dance Around a Curious Tree by Charles Dickens. First edition, in ¾ quarter morocco with marbled paper and matching endpapers. Original wrappers bound in. Publisher: [London]: [St. Lukes Hospital] [1852]. Bookplates of Kenyon Starling and [William] Self on the front pastedown. Binding in fine condition. Contents clean and bright, crease in the middle (as usual) as the pamphlet was often carried in ones pocket. 19 pages plus the directory of The General Committee and a page asking for donations. 5 x 7 ½ inches. A very nice copy of a very scarce Dickens item. Protected by Mylar. Inventory #19-117. Price: $1500.
