(Book Club Edition) The burnt orange cover had the gilt title over black on the spine, the lower corner on the back cover has a bend and there is what looks like water spotting on the lower edge of the front cover; the trimmed head is orange and the fore edge is rough cut. The endpapers are a bit aged with one former owners name and some marks at the top and bottoms of papers where the glue from bottom tape on the cover has marked. The interior is also aged, but very clean and bright. The dust jacket has the title in yellow over the picture of water and smoke rising from a town, the spine has the title in yellow over red. The bottom edge has tape adhered and some of the top tape is gone and the corner is bumped, the spine is very aged with some chips.
