FIRST EDITION in illustrated dust jacket, frontis., photos, 4 maps, index, 188pp. O'Keefe #1517. Near Fine. A well-researched and much-needed biography on George Wallace, second in command of G Company to Lt. Donald McIntosh at the LBH. Wallace survived the LBH only to be killed at Wounded Knee in 1890. The author believes Wallace was truthful in his testimony at the 1879 Reno Court of Inquiry and didn't slant his testimony to protect the U.S. Army and the Seventh Cavalry in particular, an opinion not shared by all Little Big Horn students.
