Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. The Dave Dawson aviation stories were classics of the WWII era. American Dave Dawson, with his English pal Freddy Farmer, roamed the skies throughout the world defeating the evil forces of Germany, Italy, and Japan. I have read most all boys' war series, and believe the Dave Dawson series to be the best ever. The light-blue exterior is sun-faded on the spine, and the covers show wear at the corners and edges, and at the head and tail of the spine. The interior is beginning to separate at the front and rear paste-downs, and the pages are yellowing (as is very common with the high-acid paper used during wartime). A decent copy of a hard-to-find book in the series. 252 pgs. + intro to "Truk.". Seller Inventory # 001152
