This is a good readers copy as none of the inner pages are affected. Contains the first appearance of "Lexington Addicts' Hospital" by William Burroughs, Jr. (son of William S. Burroughs), and other contributions about the 1970's radical movement, including "Directory of Movement Periodicals," "On Women's Liberation" by Susan Braudy, "The Irish Struggle" by Bernadette Devlin, "Gay Liberation: Out of the Closets and Into the Streets" by Jonathan Black, "The Long and Winding Road to the Underground" by "The Weatherman," etc. 'Defiance: A Radical Review' was published as a radical anthology, in three separate issues, between 1970 and 1971. OCLC lists only five worldwide holdings [Massachusetts (Amherst), Temple, Minnesota, New Mexico and Idaho State] 320 pages.
