Bound in period half leather with English bubble marbled paper over boards. Handsome book plates. Text block edges speckled. The front board of volume 1 is detached. Moderate rubbing to the joints, tips, and crown of the spines, volume 1's crown with a small tear along the joint, and the upper portion of the spine lifting off the spine. Internally clean and bright. Not as bad as it sounds.
