For non-USA orders, if the book you order is larger than an octavo, is multi-volume, or is thick and those factors cause the shipment to weigh over 2.0 lbs (about 0.9kg), expect that an extra shipping charge will be assessed to cover the actual cost of the shipment. Overnight and expedited shipping is available. INSURANCE against damage or loss is included at no extra charge.
