Book is without marks or writings, pages are clean and book is tight and sturdy. All the pages are present in book. Good+/None dust jacket condition as issued. BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION: The book has floral patterned endpapers (green and white). This is a very scarce eccentric historical romance set among pre-Christian Germanic tribes adhering to the Norse religion. There are flowery speeches and Elizabethan pronouns to cast a varnish of pseudo-Biblical authority over the very scarce title. The main part of the romance is preceded by a rambling 12 page expository preface that touches on utopias, Christianity, and modern science. There is a verse preface and prologue with a lengthy epigraph from Richard Waqner's 'Heldenthum and Christenthum. COMPETITIVE PRICING!
