# AS PICTURED : FIVE IMAGES # FIRST EDITION, Second Impression. Maintaining an identical size and exterior to the First Impression, with blind-stamped design to boards (no black inking, as in later impressions) and gilt titles to spine. Consistently clean red cloth boards, given the age of the book, with spine very marginally indeed darker. Scarcely any signs of bumping or rubbing, apart from left-hand spine edge and tail, which are showing some small areas of fraying. Top edge dust-darkened, other edges a little foxed. 200pp, all with very light occasional foxing; securely bound apart from the top board hinge, which is showing binding through a thin cracking between pastedown and endpaper. Ffep has heavy pencil initials in centre, making light impression on Title Page. No other marks or inscriptions. A tidy copy of this scarce item.
