Robert Sylvester De Ropp (1913 to 1987) was an English biochemist and a researcher and academic in that field. During a ten-year period working for the Lederle Laboratories near Pearl River, New York, Ropp wrote a book for the general reader in the field of psychoactive substances (many of which are plant-derived): Drugs and the Mind. - This was his first book. - CONDITION & DESCRIPTION OF THE BOOK: A facsimile dustjacket houses this book. It was produced from an original first printing. The cover art by Eric Fraser is beautifully vibrant. On the original dustjacket, there was light soiling to the rear panel which is an off white colour, This has transferred over in the reproduction process. The dustjacket is now enclosed in a protective archival sleeve. - Boards are light blue cloth with black lettering to the spine. General soiling and a few marks. Tightly bound to the inner page block. - 310 pages are clean and tightly bound. Has a comprehensive index to the rear. - END - All our orders are shipped within 1 or 2 business days.…

Most postage destinations offer a tracked and signed for service and in these cases, this is the postage method I will use. To certain locations, I may only be able to use a Tracked postal service, and will do so, but all goods are sent fully insured so you have the best protection available. At the end of the day, I want my customers to be happy with the experience of buying from me. I guarantee all of my descriptions and will be happy to accept returns if there is an error in these descriptions. If a refund is agreed, the Buyer will arrange to return the item(s) in the original packing or to a similar standard. The Seller will send a refund, when the returned goods are received and inspected. The refund will include postage costs if there has been an error in the description. If there are no errors and the buyer returns the goods because they have changed their minds, the return postage costs will not be refunded. Thank you again.
