The last two chapters deal with the Dutch colonization in the island and their civil establishments. Octavo: 198 p. with a folding frontispiece map, 12 plates (1 folding), and 21 textual illustrations. Original blue cloth binding, with gilt titles. The spine is lightly faded, with a bit of wear to the corners and tips; otherwise very good.
