x+248; German litho bookplate of Jonas Cohn fr. pastedown, with stamp of 'Dr.H.Gottschalk' at bottom, a sm.ink bibliographic note at end end of Preface, thereafter intermittent pencil or ink marginal lining and hostile comments in German throughout, fr.gutter cracked exposing netting, but remains tight; both boards have received a diagonal knock across lower outer section which has rippled paper and resulted in surface paper tears on pastedowns, covers otherwise clean and minimally worn. Remains an acceptable copy of this somewhat scarce work, and some may find the German ripostes amusing. Size: 12.5 Cm x 18.5 Cm.
