238 pages with colour photos throughout, mostly full page. Black cloth with a very good dustwrapper. some light handling to the wrapper at edges. An inscription on FFEP to John J Gibson from his mother and father for passing his driving test and a small art drawn ex-libris bookplate. (this gentleman went on to become an art lecturer at the Courtauld Institute in the 1980's-90's), Large quarto. 30 x 25 cm just over (12 x 10 inches approx).

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.…
