An excellent first US edition copy of this Murray Hill mystery by American author Hugh Lawrence Nelson. The scarce first US edition of this uncommon work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Hugh Lawrence Nelson (1907-1983) was an American author, best known for his character San Francisco Detective Lieutenant Steve Johnson. In this novel from Nelson's Murray Hill series, Detective Lieutenant Steve Johnson investigates the murder of a beautiful blonde guest at a Colorado Rocky Mountain fishing camp. A fast-paced murder mystery with excellent dialogue. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Dust wrapper is mostly bright and smart, with just a little sunning to the spine and light chipping to the head and tail of the spine of the wraps. Fine. Seller Inventory # 890M30
