8vo,1st Edition, oblong in shape, color illustrated by Tom Freud, she was the niece of Sigmund Freud and a talented illustrator and writer associated with the German Jugendstil and Bauhaus movements. Her work in David the Dreamer marked her first appearance in the U.S., 67 pages, no writing on pages. Bound in dark green cloth, color illustrated paste down on front cover. No rips or tears on illustration. There is some staining on front board as shown, a white spot on right edge of mid spine and a white spot at mid left side of front board, spine edges show some fraying, rubbing on spine cloth, leaving whitish marks, corners bumped, and a 1/4" damaged spot on cloth at lower left edge of front board. Otherwise a very Rare collectible piece.
