The Day's Work is a collection of short stories by Rudyard Kipling. It was first published in 1898. There are no poems included between the different stories in The Day's Work, as there are in many other of Kipling's collections. Three-quarter leather binding with five raised bands and gilt floral decorations to the spine. Top edge gilt, old owner inscription dated Christmas 1901. Marbled covers and endpapers. Small chips to the spine only. First edition. 5½" - 8½".
