Octavo; publisher's cloth in pictorial dust jacket retaining original price ($2.95); [6],250pp. A few tiny chips to jacket margins, with a shallow dampstaining at head and tail, more visible to verso and not affecting cloth or textblock, and brief paper abrasion to jacket spine verso; red portion of spine panel faded, boards bumped at corners, else a Very Good copy of this late Dr. Priestley detective novel.
