Single volume abridgement of Edward Gibbon's monumental history from Marcus Aurelius to the fall of Constantinople. 924pp with index, illustrated with maps to endpapers. Gilt lettering to spine. Boards slightly bowed and slight staining to top edges, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has slight edge and surface wear, otherwise very good.
