The book is a mystery novel featuring artist-detective Christopher "Kit" Storm. A wayward millionaire decides to leave his valuable art collection to the City of New York and his actual fortune to the Communist Party. This unusual inheritance outrages his wealthy relatives. One disgruntled relative expresses their anger by murdering three people. Christopher "Kit" Storm is a commercial illustrator who assists the New York City Homicide Squad. Kit uses his artistic skills to sketch people, locations, and crime scenes, noticing tiny visual clues that others miss. Real black-and-white drawings by R.F. Schabelitz are printed throughout the book to serve as visual clues for the reader. Condition: The book is in Fine condition and appears unread - clean both inside and out with no notable issues found. Clean pages. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. A very nice copy. The dust jacket is un-clipped with the price intact on the front flap; light soiling to the back cover, with staining at the bottom-left quadrant; tiny tears at the top/bottom of the spine, and at the flap crease corners; 1/2" tear at the top edge of the front cover.overall the jacket is in Very Good- condition.
