Design Ideas for Windows offers hundreds of ways for dressing a window--with blinds and shutters, or with curtains, draperies, valances, and fabric shades. All types of windows are featured in the book, including standard shapes and sizes, as well as special "architectural" windows and odd shapes. Fabric types and recommendations, such as trimmings, are thoroughly addressed. In addition, the book provides important information regarding hardware--including many examples of the lastest decorative rods, finials, sconces, and hold backs. More topics include measuring, maintenance, and care and solutions for problem windows.
