Foxing throughout, edges of textblock somewhat soiled. Boards somewhat worn, with light bruising on spine ends but despite a very good copy housed in burgundy slipcase. Govenor Morris served as Minister Plenipotentiary to France during the 'terror' and was critical of the Revolution including the execution of Marie Antoinette.
