Sm8vo. vi, [2] 3-373pp. First edition. Very good plus book in good dust jacket. Dark royal blue cloth covered boards with blind-fillet border on front panel, gilt-stamped lettering on spine. Boards are clean and lettering is crisp. Edges at head and tail of board spine are a bit crimped with small bumps and scuffs on corners; two small nicks on the lowermost board edges of front and back panels; tiny rubs on fore-edge corners. Erasure marks in upper corner of FFEP. External page edges and text pages are lightly age-toned, else internally clean. Text block is snug. Dust jacket has shelf-wear soil overall; Spine is sunned, all folds are creased and rubbed. Front panel is separated from spine and repaired with archival tape. Front fore-edge fold has 1 1/2" by up to 3/8" loss. Loss and rubs across head and tail of jacket spine and all fore-edge corners. Upper edges are rubbed, with several closed vertical tears and horizontal creases. Back jacket panel has an 8 3/4" diagonal crease from the upper right corner through the spine.
