A very good two volume set in publisher slipcase. Dostoevsky's diary is "here translated into English for the first time . WIth anecdotes, reminiscence, criticism, short stories and sketches . And accounts of court trials, suicides, spiritualism, and factory children. The books are clean and solid with occasional marks in the margin to mark passages and a few letters (such as "D" ) in the margin. The slipcase is worn at the edges.
