Attractively bound in a modern half leather binding with marbled endpapers, five raised bands to the spine and gilt title lettering, this is an ex-Reference Library copy, with a Library book plate on the verso of the front free endpaper, and a couple of oblong stamps on the verso of the title page (please see images). There is a small ink blemish on the bottom edge, and some light creasing to the top right-hand corner of the leaves. Overall, a good hardback first edition in a pleasing modern binding. Ex-Library, but not offensively so.
