Mathematician George F. Simmons received his BS degree from California Institute of Technology in 1946, his MS degree from University of Chicago in 1948 and his PhD from Yale University in 1957. He would go on to teach advanced Mathematics at both Yale and University among others. This is his second book; and the first edition, first printing. This title would ultimately be republished in multiple editions over the next 44 years. Near fine/VG.
