Publisher's sky blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine, blind lettering + double bands around edges on front. Tan printed dw, black lettering + crest, price clipped. White eps. Covers : very slight fade top/bottom edge of spine, very slight shelf knocks bottom corner of spine, + front bottom corner. Dw : 0.5cm chip bottom of spine, 2cm closed tear top of spine, slight rubs front top + rear bottom corners. We describe our books very carefully.
Every description ends with a declaration of overall condition - for example, F/VG means the book is fine condition with no faults and the dust wrapper is very good condition, complete and no significant loss although there may be a few slight marks or even some very minor chips.
The discription may be softened slightly for much older books.
We do accept payment by Sterling cheque.
We accept PayPal direct - please send to books@deightons.com.
We no longer accept credit cards direct, although you can pay by credit card using the PayPal facility.
Packing and postage is charged extra at cost, Royal Mail first class or MyHermes in the UK only.
In general, we do not send books on approval although exceptions can sometimes be made.
Condition is described as accurately as possible, but if you are dissatisfied, the book may be returned
within ten days of receipt.
