Original full brown tree calf leather binding, inlaid square oftan leather + blind stamped cartouches in corners front & rear, raised bands on spine. Original white eps. Spine : contemporary 1cm lozenge shaped tan leather label stuck down midway, slight rubs top/bottom of spine, single old worm hole that comes out in the centre on the book at the spine affecting a single page only. Covers : 1cm chip of leather down to board rear top edge, corners heavy rubs, surface scuffs, rear very large ringmark where the leather has gone darker ( almost looks like an inlay - musthave had a vase on it for years!). Contents : contemporary italic " 15 " about 2cm high written lightly in brown ink on leading edge of pages (quite attractive ), inner hinge broken at page 1 with light stain at innerhinge, else clean, tight & unfoxed.
