Uncommon FLIP-BOOK for the DISCUS, with numerous b&w photographs throughout (over 300 illustrations). Each recto page with five photographs, flip through the volume's pages to create movement. The photographs feature discus champion William Kenneth Carpenter. Cinematography & direction by Art Stevenson. With a foreword by Dick Woodard. Title page notes "Flipping Time 2 2/10 Seconds for Correct Action". Rear shows details on other books in the series, noting each book contains "moving pictures of the event, moving pictures of important exercises, complete article on the event, the secrets exposed, diet information, training schedule, decathlon table, medical aspects, how to pick a potential champion, athletic coaching & training, common injuries & their care, over 300 illustrations". The sixth book in the Cine-Sports Library (with VI to spine). Inside rear cover printed with "The boy can spend more time with a cine'-sport than the coach can spend with the boy". Small oblong black volume with gold lettering & design, with rounded fore-edges, as issued. No dustjacket. Printed in the USA.
