Il fit un séjour en Angleterre en 1729, pour apprendre auprès de Cheselden la taille de la pierre par l'appareil latéral. Morand adapta ensuite la méthode de Cheselden en la simplifiant. Il fut le premier en France à pratiquer de façon délibérée une taille hypogastrique. Il a laissé son nom à une structure du cerveau : ergot de Morand. Il fut censeur royal et chirurgien en chef de l'hôpital de la Charité, puis chirurgien en chef de l'Hôtel des Invalides. Reliure postérieure, dos lisse titres dorés, plats marbrés rouges. Size: In8.
