First edition 1845. two Volume Set. Some foxing at the beginning and end of the books. Page edges marbled to match the endpapers. Bound in a contemporary half calf with cloth sides. Raised bands with titling labels in two colours, gilt decoration and lining. Some light rubbing to the spines and very slight fading. Both volumes are complete with half titles. Volume one has 301 pages and volume two has 299 pages. Generally an attractive solid set. Rare.
