B & W drawings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 96 pages; 1934 [Self-Published] HC 1st edition. Snugly bound in original turquoiuse blue cloth lettered brightly in gilt to cover and spine. Laid in at front is a small bi-fold advertising leaf for the book; it includes a pictorial vignette on the cover and a special verse/poem suggesting the value of the book for a prospective purchaser as well as the author's name and address label as the avenue of purchase. A collection of humorous verse describing golf's techniques, jargon and unique problems and foibles of the amateur golfer. Illustrated with ten humorous full page drawings in the manner of John Held - but uncredited. Just trace shelf rubbing to extrmities. VG+. Seller Inventory # 54005
