[viii]+217pp, l+190pp, folding frontis to each volume, 2 folding plates to volume II, Armorial bookplate in each volume, endpapers & blanks rather foxed, cloth a little grubby, otherwise a nice set. Hampshire Record Society volume I & XII. Volume I contains Latin transcripts, with English translations of - Compotus Roll 1536-7 - Letters Patent 1541 - stipends & salaries, statutes 1544 - injunctions of royal commissioners 1547 etc. Volume II is portly concerned with disputes between the chapter & the town corporation, repairs to the fabric of the cathedral etc. 1100 grams.
