First edition. 164pp. Original brown cloth with gilt lettering. Very Good with ding to bottom edge of upper board, foxing to text block edge, blue marking on bottom textblock edge, pages toned. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket with light foxing and light wear, toning to spine. The British writer's memoir of his years with an Alsatian dog (named Queenie in real life), which was the basis of a 2009 animated film. Seller Inventory # 140939727
