Contains 15 short stories by the Irish writer, whose career migrated from the directorship of the Abbey Theatre to a professorship at Stanford. His short story "Guests of the Nation" inspired, in part, the screenplay for "The Crying Game." Several of his short stories were published in the New Yorker.
