FIRST EDITION, first impression. Octavo (21 x 15cm), pp.144. Publisher's green patterned cloth lettered in silver to spine. Dust-jacket designed by the illustrator, with printed price of 15s net to front flap. Illustrated. Spotting to edges and endpaper's trace from a removed sticker to flyleaf, closed tear to the front panel and some creases to the front flap of dust-jacket. Very good. The author's first novel for young readers.
