1958. First Edition. 256 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth covered boards with silver lettering and dancing lady illustration to front board cloth. Pages are moderately tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. Slightly more pronounced to text block edges. Damp stain to hinges towards the bottom edge. Binding remains firm. Brown staining to fore edge of text block edges. Occasional thumb-marking. Text is unaffected. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Gilt lettering has become dull. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
