The UK First Edition of Volume 2 in the "Dragonriders of Pern" series and the first hardcover edition of this title. Original green cloth with gilt titles to the backstrip. Not fine but a VG copy which has a slight lean. Pushed a little at the spine tips but with sharp corners. Minor tanning - or rather, dis-coloration - to the edges of the block with a touch of grubbiness here and there as well but internally free from owner names, library markings etc. The covers are clean and bright. The dustjacket has the original price of £2.50 at the front flap. There is a small tri-angular chip at the foot of the spine and a small, old sellotape repair to the inside of the jacket above. Minor chip to the laminate of the jacket at the foot also. For best appreciation of condition please examine the accompanying images. Much, much better than it probably sounds, this is a nice example of a rare book - no spotting/foxing, no previous owner names or library markings etc.

Terms of sale
All of our stock is guaranteed to be authentic and as described.
We obtain many of our signed books in person where possible. Those otherwise obtained we purchase ourselves with extreme caution - either with provenance or where, in our professional opinion, the material is unquestionably authentic.
Any item can be returned for a refund if found unsatisfactory for any reason, if we are notified within 14 days. The refund will include the original shipping cost but not the cost of returning the item.
Shipping terms
All items are meticulously packaged to ensure that they arrive in the condition described.
Books are shipped as parcels. Parcel mail rates from Finland are based on the size of the parcel as opposed to weight. This means that we can often safely accommodate several items in the same box at no extra cost. For example, up to 4 standard-sized hardcover fiction titles will fit - with padding - into our standard shipping box. You pay the shipping fee for one item only.
The standard parcel rate also includes full tracking, worldwide.
Smaller items such as autographs, postcards or other ephemera can be sent by a less expensive Letter-rate. ** Letter mail from Finland does not include tracking by default**, however and therefore if you require this service, please choose the Expedited option when placing your order for this type of item.
Shipping costs for ** framed prints or paintings** - particularly where glazed - will be higher than advertised as they are normally sent by courier. Please enquire about likely costs before placing an order as there can be variance where the picture is small.
Shipping speeds are an estimate provided by Posti.fi - delays can occur due to customs interference, e.g. but items usually arrive well within estimate.
