Item description from seller

Delightful tale for children ages 7+ about a girl & her dragon, illustrated with the whimsical pen-and-ink drawings of New Yorker cartoonist Edward Koren on every page. A First Edition, First Printing from 1978, this oversized hardcover is in Good condition, downgraded due to heavy rubbing (down to underlying boards in places) along top & bottom edges to the green paper that covers both boards; brown cloth-wrapped spine is unaffected. Else, extremely clean, pages white & unmarked. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. The unclipped DJ is VG, with mild rubbing to extremities, light soil, slight chipping to both ends of spine. Nicely protected in new mylar cover Free! Our photos depict the EXACT book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have. Same day shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays, Pacific time; later orders, weekends, & holidays ship very next business day.
