Raders Drama erscheint hier erstmalig in einer Edition mit Ubersetzung und Kommentar. Der 'Cassianus' bietet einen kurzweiligen und uberaus unterhaltsamen Einblick in das kultur- und bildungsgeschichtlich uberaus bedeutende Dramenwesen der Jesuiten. Ferner ladt das Buhnenstuck mit seiner tief in der Erfahrungswelt von SchulerInnen bzw. LehrerInnen verankerten Thematik dazu ein, aktuelle Bildungs- und Padagogikdebatten zu historisieren, kritisch zu reflektieren und moglicherweise neu zu bewerten.
