A very good copy of the presumed first hard cover edition (no explicit edition or printing statement) in a like (not price-clipped) dust-jacket. Save for a dated (1979) Christmas inscription in pencil on the rear endpaper, the text is wholly unmarked, pristine, and the binding and jacket are bright and fresh in appearance. ; surface wear and faint smudges. The slipcase is in solid condition, with incipient 1" split to a portion of the baseA sharp copy.
