Richard Newton - I am a 48-year-old from the UK, with lots of experience in different areas - I am a project manager, a management consultant, a company director and author, but I would prefer not to be defined by that alone. I have achieved some of my dreams, in all sorts of different areas, but I have lots and lots more! I have two specific ambitions to achieve before I am 50 which I am working on right now. My consulting work takes me all around the world, mostly helping large companies with business and organizational change, or helping them to improve the ways they deliver projects and change. As an author I have published 9 books so far, which have been translated into 14 languages. They are all business and management books, but increasingly I am interested in writing in other genres. I am also a director for two companies. I split my time between running my consulting company, writing, and I am halfway through a degree in philosophy at present, having originally qualified with degrees in mechanical engineering and economics. I love to travel and visit exotic places, walk in the mountains, and do cross country running.
