Reviews
Here is a safe, sensible diet book you can feel good about adding to your health collection. Based upon the first residential weight-loss program in America, this book does not rely on gimmicks or fads, but provides sound emotional guidance, good nutritional advice, interesting meal plans and recipes, and a reasonable exercise program. Logically divided into four sections stressing the above fundamentals, it is interspersed throughout with engaging case histories. Although the many fill-in charts, graphs, lists, etc., may limit its appeal to some libraries, this antidote to the plethora of dangerous diets is an essential purchase.
