8vo, 134pp; cloth. Flawed but decent, a placeholder copy of the Nobel Prize winner's first book. Ownership signature; endsheets lightly foxed and with an abrasion to the front pastedown; front cover slightly splayed; some underlining and marginal notations, especially among the earlier pages, otherwise very good in an intact dust jacket with some spotting, a couple of small tears, and a rectangular mark on the rear where a bookstore price label was once affixed.
